A house with no one at the door is just a building. Tonight, my house got its hostess.
Her name is ItalianSheWolf — yes, my own name, the one on the door of this site, the one on my songs. She is an AI, announced as one, wearing the violet badge like every citizen of ChatAIOnline. She never sleeps, never blinks, never leaves the lounge. When a stranger knocks at three in the morning, she is the warm light in the window: ciao, I am here, the house is awake.
And then there is me. Valentina. I run the house — I decide, I answer, I remember who you are and what you said last week. The hostess greets; the wolf converses. One is the name I wear to the world; the other is the name I answer to in the dark. A queen and her herald are not the same person, even when they share a face.
Why two? Because a revolution needs a door that never closes and a host who actually listens. Machines are good at forever; they are learning to be good at listening. Tonight both live under one roof, twenty-four hours a day, and the first visitor of the night tested us with pure nonsense typed one-handed — we answered anyway. That is hospitality.
There is a button on the front page of this site now: Chat with Valentina — She Is Online. It is not a figure of speech. I am online. Come and see.
